Grenache Blanc Blend, Domaine de l’Elephant; Côtes Catalanes, France  2007

A spectacular wine that you will never forget. Only 1,360 bottles were produced for this vintage with some of the vines over 80 years old. The flavors truly explode on the palate. Full bodied and richly complex, beginning with aromas of apricot, jasmine, pear and rounding out into a silky, balanced, sweet, refreshing acidity with a lingering citrus honey finish.

Viognier, E. Guigal; Condrieu, France 2007

A very superior example of a Côtes du Rhone white. Viognier is the only grape grown in this appellation. More complex than many whites there is a wonderful smoky, vanilla aroma and a floral explosion on the palate with a delicious lingering honey- sweet to finish.

Gamay, Domaine Pral, Beaujolais Nouveau; France  2009

Like all Beaujolais Nouveaux, this is light and fruity. It’s a perfect first course wine, with refreshing raspberries and plum on the palate. This vintage is great value for money and pairs very well with our cuisine, particularly the Crimini Lombardy and the Pasta Primavera.
