Meal Plan Update

People asking about Meal Plan update. Wednesday (3/7) pick up this week. Email david@theredavocado.com to place an order.

For the future: There will be pick ups for the next 3 weeks. So March 7, 14 and 21. If you know you would like plans those weeks go ahead and let me know. I am working on the week of the 28th.

Meal Plans will pick up again week beginning April 23, so no meal plans for the first 3 weeks of April. At that time I’ll establish a schedule so that folks who are on for 4 or 8 weeks can get the price break.

If anyone would like to purchase veggieburgers individually, I can include them in your meal plans. They are $2 each or 12 for $18. They are frozen and keep for a year or so. Will begin shipping these around the country too after April, so keep your out of town friends in the loop.

Wine Tasting

We had a great time sitting in the courtyard last night, sipping wines from Adelsheim and L’Ecole No. 41, both from the Pacific Northwest. Tom Lally of Okoboji wines talked us through the geology of the land and the contrasts between the Northwest and California philosophies of wine. Perfect weather helped too. Thanks to all who attended.

The front patio is already bumping and the back patio will be open by the end of the month.

March and April were a flurry of activity. Thanks to all who attended our Welcome to Spring Party. We had a full house here to listen to Ben Schmidt and friends. Not quite warm enough for the patio then.

Wednesday March 23rd, we hosted a beer dinner. Dustin Busch was here playing guitar and we had a great evening of beer and food pairings. Little Village had a reporter here, link to their review here. Next beer dinner is on Wednesday June 22 at 6:15pm.

Two of our guests at the December Beer Dinner were Steve and Cody from 30th Century Bicycles (a great local bike shop). Steve prepared this short review for those who couldn’t make it.

We have a wine tasting scheduled for Saturday April 30th from 3:30pm-5:00pm. There will be a post. Click here to sign up for our blog.

Spring schedule is here, so we are open for lunch/brunch Tuesday thru Sunday and continue our regular dinners Tuesday-Saturday through the year.
